Project Management (Compulsory unit)

Instead of talking about project management alone, we should talk about a project approach to solve, construct and meet requirements. Next time you talk to your boss, be sure to emphasize the need to set up projects and manage by projects.

Project Appraisal (Compulsory unit)

The main objective of this unit is to introduce the student to the world of project appraisal. This Economic Appraisal Evaluation is a key tool for achieving value for money and satisfying requirements for decision accountability.

Agile (Optional unit)

Each project is different and in each we have the opportunity to analyse needs and do the right thing, at the right time, as events develop. We will learn more about agile methodologies, and specifically Scrum, Kanban and Lean.

Project Management Professional (PMP) (Optional unit)

We will learn what is meant by PMP (Project Management Professional) and what managing a project in this way involves. We are going to look at all the processes that take place within its five Process Groups and its 10 Knowledge Areas.

Quality Management (Optional unit)

Quality is not a passing fad that we began to worry about in the 1990s due to low-quality but economically priced products from emerging markets. Quality is a concept that has always been desired and valued, and it exists in the present day in the form of total quality or excellence, a quality that we see in products and services, and also a quality on which business competitiveness and the sustainability of organizations are based, and one which is increasingly common in emerging economies.

Public Private Partnership (Optional unit)

If we want to have an applied vision of the productivity it is necessary to understand how productivity works in the socioeconomic context. Because it is not a matter of thinking about the pure theory of labor and capital, but rather to discuss two issues that in our view are very important.
