PROGRAMA
Negotiation Models (Compulsory unit)
Negotiation is something everybody is familiar with. It's something you use all the time in your work as well as in your personal life. The fact shows that you spend a significant part of your day negotiating. That's why good negotiation skills are so important nowadays. Studies show that having good negotiation skills plays an important role in your success as an employee and your potential for advancement.
Skills that Matter (Compulsory unit)
Education and labour market are changing as a result of technology and its influence in the workplace. We now have new ways of working, new tools for working, new ways of living and even new ways of thinking as a result of the influence of technology on life, work and leisure. Entrants to workplaces need skills to function effectively in this environment that have not traditionally been taught in our schools and universities. That's why it's so important to know the complex skills required nowadays to fit the new circumstances.
Applied Negotiation (Optional unit)
The ability to negotiate is one of the most important skills that you can have. People do not only negotiate in their places of work, but also with their families, friends, or even during their daily activities like shopping. However, this does not mean that we all know how to negotiate successfully.
Decision Making (Optional unit)
Generally, we make difficult decisions calmly, taking months to make up our minds, and just like the chief executive before a costly transaction and the doctor before a complex operation, we filter different options before we commit to one of them. But even if we devote a reasonable amount of time to a particular decision, is there really a 'right' one, a utopic choice that will yield maximum benefit at the lowest opportunity cost?
Professional Development and Team Building (Optional unit)
Globalization, knowledge society, global economy and ICT's have led to gradual and significant changes in the educational system, the labour market and individuals. Therefore, it's important to identify the changes that have taken place and analyse which are the transversal skills that should be developed to respond to the demands of organizations.
Personal Finance (Optional unit)
So the broad effort of the financial literacy movement has reached an inflexion point: Almost everyone buys the notion that it is 'essential' for adults to be knowledgeable about their personal finances. We need to know because we want freedom from debt. Freedom to spend the time to do thing.; right. Freedom to try out new things and follow our interests. Freedom to ... That's why you need to master the application of the principles of finance to your monetary decisions.
Understanding Remuneration (Optional unit)
Companies often ask your previous salary to determine an appropriate compensation package for you should they choose to hire you. While the package they offer will be based on the position you're applying for, it will also be influenced by what they think they would have to offer you. The companies always assume that your previous salary was matched with your value added and your performance. Take heed of wise advice before any interview.
